This Week in the City Sampler

The end of the triangles is in sight, but not this week. More adventures in diagonal piecing! And let’s just lightly gloss over the top edge of block #43. I’ll make it work, but… it wasn’t my proudest moment.

Next week: More triangles, including a block I had to pull apart and completely redo, and then we move into the Stripes section!

Beautiful! The same thing happened to me on block #43.

Thank you! I finally figured out a better way to do the stitch & flip. I flip and press before I trim away the corners in the same allowance. That way I can match the one I’m flipping with the corner as it ought to be, regardless of whether my seam is a little bit off. It’s worked like a charm on the most recent set of blocks.
